I've never seen lotus seeds before so I was excited to examine this mala upon arrival. The beads/seeds are all uniformly round, an off-cream color with genrous dark flecks on each. The mala is strung not too tightly that one can't count each bead during practice. The tassle is a creative touch ending with tiny lotus seeds knotted at the end of eash strand of cord. This is a most beautiful piece of craftwork and is at once a wonder to the eye and to the touch. This is a work of fine art.
