by Zobo Bunga (1779-1840)
Zobo served at Jurin-ji in Shimotsuke and Kokusei-ji in Izu. During his last years he was in charge of the training hall at Shofuku-ji in Kobe. Artistically, he was known for his rough, individualistic style featuring strong contrasts of wet and dry ink tones.
