I have to admit that listening to genuine Zen monastery chanting was surreal,other worldly - strange to my ears. Being half Japanese(my Japanese mother practiced Zen when I was a child), I'm drawn to it. As I continued to listen to it I found myself repeating the liturgy and found the positive affirmations endearing,inspiring & enlightening.
Thank you for sharing a sacred part of your world so I can become the person I aspire to be.
