Mahasattva Fu Expounds the Scripture

Religious practice can be turned into a crutch when we lose confidence in our ability to stand on our own. To be free we must continually let go of all attachments, including the trappings of religion. Though all aspects of practice are offered to help us wake up to our inherent nature, their effectiveness is up to us. We must be careful not to turn liberation into another hiding place.
