I have been struggling with a severe depression for over a year now. I have read several books on the subject during this time, but none have even compared to this one. You immediately know that this person has been exactly where you are. Having had trouble practicing while in this depression, this book was an excellent help in getting me back on the right track. The compassion and knowledge contained in this book are greatly needed for the many people out there going through this difficult time. I cannot recommend this book too highly. It can literally help your transform your depression into something you can practice with and learn from...deeply.
