Submitted By: Andrew on 01/26/2013 This is a lovely object to use as an offering cup. The pattern of the moss-like filaments in the chalcedony is indeed reminiscent of gazing into a deep pool. It reminds me of Bashō's famous haiku:
The old pond,
A frog jumps in:

Submitted By: Thomas on 02/26/2011 This is a delightful creation whose color reminds me most of a pond with strands of duckweed across its top. If you are going to use it for an incense bowl, use short sticks only: ash from long sticks tends to tumble off beyond the rim of the bowl. A very bright and cheering little bowl! :)
