DC Audio is committed to bringing the teachings of the dharma to home practitioners. Whether you live far away from a training center or are looking to invigorate your home practice, we offer recordings of dharma discourses and retreats by teachers in the Mountains and Rivers Order, talks by emminent scholars, readings of classic texts, and selected music.

With an audio archive spanning twenty-five years, and our in-house audio editing and production facilities, we are able to select recordings that touch on areas of Zen training that are of special relevance in the Eight Gates practice matrix of the Mountains and Rivers Order. We have talks addressing the first stage of Zen practice, the moral and ethical teaching of Zen and their application in the workplace, and the artless arts of Zen. We also feature the recordings of the Shobogenzo Intensives led by John Daido Loori, Roshi. These intensives, centering on an indepth study of a chapter of the Shobogenzo by Master Dogen, are a unique offering from Zen Mountain Monastery.

Live Words is our very popular audio subscription program. Live Words are an unedited presentation of the teachings of John Daido Loori, Roshi, Bonnie Myotai Treace, Sensei, and Geoffrey Shugen Arnold, Sensei. Each month a talk is selected specifically for Live Words subscribers. We choose talks that highlight an aspect of training beneficial for home practitioners.
