DC Building

With the continuing growth of Buddhism in the west, especially as an authentic spiritual path, Dharma Communications is expanding its support for those who want to practice. In June of 2002, we opened a new buildingThe new Dharma Communications Building on the grounds of Zen Mountain Monastery - a modern facility to meet the increasing interest in Buddhist products and services.

From video production to shipping, purchasing to bookkeeping, web design to radio broadcasting, all work at Dharma Communications is done by residents and monastics of the Monastery. Appreciating it as a pivotal dimension of spiritual practice, we use work as a gate of self-investigation and an opportunity to serve the community and express gratitude.

Throughout the twenty-five hundred year history of Zen Buddhism, its teachers have creatively employed skillful means to express the Dharma. Guided by John Daido Loori, Roshi, Dharma Communications takes up this tradition by staying on the cutting edge of technology, in the hopes of reaching those who would otherwise not have access to the teachings and teachers.
